Help Feed America

I hope you are all healthy. This has been such a horrible time for so many; maybe you or your loved ones have been affected. Mine has.

If you are lucky to still have an income and love ceramics like I do, please consider shopping online at Charlie Cummings Gallery May 9-10. The gallery is giving 25% of every purchase to Feeding America, an organization that connects people with food they need through a nationwide network of food banks. I have work in this gallery and would love for you to purchase some Pincu Pots or any other amazing maker.

Thank you to all those that shop. For those that have been affected by this crazy, historical time, I wish, hope and cross my fingers that the hurt will subside.

Take care, all of you!

Elise

I am doing a workshop soon….

Hey everyone!  Sorry to send two messages in a week, but I forgot something!

Saturday, November 16 I will be teaching a workshop at Cowee Pottery School near Franklin, NC.  This is a hands on workshop where I will talk about decorating your pottery with underglazes, stains and glazes.  I will demo (and you will practice) brushwork, and talk about color and design choices.  You will also get to decorate your pottery – students are asked to bring leatherhard, bone-dry and bisque work to class as well as watercolor brushes (preferably sumi-e brushes).

10-4 pm on Saturday, November 16.  Pre-registration is a must.  Email contact@coweepotteryschool.org to register now!
