I don’t want to jinx it, nor am I much of a braggard… but I just got word that…..

I passed the first jury!!!!!

There are two juries to go through in order to become a Southern Highlands Craft Guild Member.  The first involves sending photos of your work.  Then, the artist must send actual objects to be fondled, etc.

This is a highly prestigious group of artists/craftspeople and I am THRILLED to get this far!!!!  If I get in, I may be eligible to have work in the Folk Art Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway.  WAZOO!!!

I just couldn’t contain myself.  Wish me luck!!!!
