HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Thanksgiving is over and the holiday season is upon us.

First, I want to announce my Etsy Sale going on through December 21.  FREE SHIPPING on all domestic addresses.  Use the Coupon Code: 2015HOLIDAYS when you check out.

Secondly, I want to THANK YOU for following my pottery progress!

Now for the BIG NEWS:

Did you see it?  I was in several magazines over the last few months!!!

Most exciting was my article for Pottery Making Illustrated on how to make my oval jars. I was so thrilled when Holly Goring, editor, contacted me to ask if I would write an article.  She had to work on me… but I finally got it done and she made it read and look AMAZING!

Then Melissa Reardon, Editor-in-Chief of WNC Magazine, contacted me for a small article on the ‘Last Page’.  What fabulous press!  Thank you, Melissa!!!!  This is a beautiful magazine covering my home town and surrounding areas.  Check out the lovely article and the wonderful image Silvia Ferrari-Palmer made of my pots.

Lastly, this wonderful photo (boy do I owe Silvia!) was selected to be in a 2016 calendar of kitchen pots sold by the Potter’s Council.  Get yours now!

Once again I have asked my friend Raquel, of Raquel’s Creative Cakes, to bake up something yummy, so you will not want to miss it!

There will be other food to nibble on, people to chat with, pots to look at and hopefully purchase.  REMINDER:  Mother’s Day is the following weekend!!!

older work - jars

Older work – Blue, Green and White Jars from 2010

For those that prefer my more quiet side,  I will be selling my older work at 20% off.  That is all the blue, green and white ware.  There are some really nice pots in this color scheme still left!

Also, don’t forget this is the one time I bring out my not-so-perfect pots (2nds) so you can grab some functional yet blemished pottery at some really great prices!

Soap Dishes, new work

New work and great gift – soap dishes!

And for those of you that want to give back, I plan to donate 10% of all sales on Saturday to the Swain County United Gift Fund (UGF).  100% of the donations to the UGF go to Swain County non-profits.  I know there is need all over the world, especially in Nepal right now, but there is an amazing amount of need right here in our county and I want to help.  Please help me make a difference!
